Will We All Really Be Judged in Heaven for Both Good and Bad Things We Did? (Part 1 of 2).

We are told, and it is often taught by non-gospel preachers that we will all be judged for how good we live and how bad we live on earth. The passage used is Second Corinthians 5:10: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it be good or bad.”

This is a very terrifying passage when you truly think about it. I’ve coached Christians who were terrified of judgment. One even quoted to me a verse in Luke that says, “Things will be shouted from the housetops,” which they interpret to be our sins.

Another spoke of believing God will have a big motion picture projector in heaven to show everyone all the bad things we’ve done. Some had read about ‘the White Throne Judgment.’

This is really a terrifying thought if you consider it seriously. And this is what the next verse in Second Corinthians 5 says: “Knowing therefore the TERROR of the Lord. . .”
