The Sweat Of Writing

My writing is my tears, pain, hope, and sweat from living. It keeps me constantly desiring to move in this ever-changing world. When nothing lifts my mood, I know I can to an empty page where stories and imagination will greet me. For many, the empty page symbolizes a daunting dread like seconds before a teacher slams a test on your desk that you barely studied for. But for me, it symbolizes a sense of hope. When I see a blank page, I need to fill it like we need to fill the empty food bowls of our pets.

The idea of publishing my work or the work even being noticed falls to the sidelines when I am pounding out my writing. All I want to do is write and spread my ideas. If my words resonate with others then I am happy, but if they don’t which can happen that is fine too because the writing is therapeutic for me.

Stories have always filled me with joy and imagination. By reading stories, I was transferred from one world to the next and taught how words have affected our lives for generations. We find stories in music, video games…
