doctor known as Oz
are tinmen and scarecrows next
don’t need hearts or brains
to fiddle as we all burn
from ash, what Phoenix will rise

the sheriff’s on my trail
And if he catches up with me, you know I’ll spend my life in jail
so instead, as Damien, I’ve ascended to power as I take you down with me and descend into fomenting dissension

so devilishly smart my marionette masters
manipulate the masses
we always have
so easy this time
Democratogogues decide what matters
as the Party deafly and without deft seeks to amalgamate and assimilate minorities into a pluralistic majority
elites presuming to enlighten lower classes as to what they see and feel
while the peoples’ hearts and souls speak volumes with votes and silence

just more ismatic dogma…
…this poet hopes this isn’t doggerel
