As far back as I can remember, I always had a bit of an issue playing the Final Fantasy Remasters because I grew up playing every game on their standard difficulty including the original Final Fantasy games on PS1 & PS2. In the past, gamers believed that nothing should be handed to them; if a game did that, it wasn’t worth playing. Boy, I was wrong!

A little after 1:30 AM this morning, I beat Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster. This game put me through hell not to mention the length of the game was overwhelmingly long despite the fact that it took me 9 days to beat it.

In this post, I will be reviewing the game based on several factors and I will deliver my verdict. Before I continue, I want it to go on the record that the extra pop and whistles that was added to the game was a great boon at times, big pluses, all of them.

With that said, onto my review.

Story 10/10

I felt the story was very compelling and really gave you some background into the game, I can respect that. Even going so far as to make you think, “When was the War of the Magi, which Final Fantasy game in the past did it take place?”

At times, I felt the game’s story took itself a little too seriously but I also get too why…
