The Minecraft team recently announced that they’re working on the next major release of Minecraft, The End Update, which will hit players’ PCs and consoles this August. But what can we expect to see in this update? Let’s take a look at what 1.20 will bring us

Personalized Tutorial

One of Minecraft’s newest features is its personalized tutorial, a feature that tailors itself based on how you play and how long you’ve been playing. If you decide to learn how to build by downloading blueprints, for example, it will highlight those skills — but it also encourages you not to get in over your head and offers recommendations if it notices that you aren’t playing as well as usual.

Addition Of A New Biome

By far, one of the biggest new features of Minecraft 1.20 is something that players have been asking for ever since The Nether was released in a previous update — and it just might be your favorite too: A new biome that you can explore!

Addition of Custom Armor Stand Items

In Minecraft 1.20, Mojang may introduce a way for creators to add custom armor stand items that they’ve created with commands or JSON mods. As a result, there will be a new type of command blocks (called Custom Armor Stand Command Blocks) that let you control these items while placing them and play sounds when they’re used by players as well as using them in contraptions/Redstone creations in your world.

Addition Of Corrupt Stems

A new type of block has been added to Minecraft, called Corrupt Stems, The corrupt stems have been designed and placed at random throughout most of your existing worlds. They are fully compatible with previous worlds so you can still visit them. Corrupt Stems appear alongside their normal counterparts and can be found in a dungeon setting or at depths below 45 blocks from sea level down to layer 127 where they abruptly stop appearing which is around 2 hundred blocks from bedrock.

Addition Of Custom Bows

Custom bows are a great way to boost your combat potential in Minecraft, and version 1.20 introduces these new items into gameplay. This update allows you to craft custom bows and see how they work as well as craft them in-game.

Addition Of Custom Armor

In 1.20, armors have been given a serious upgrade! Not only do they have a custom look, but they are extremely powerful and will be useful in the vanilla game, especially in difficult biomes like the Nether and The End.

Addition Of New Structures

In recent years, Minecraft has become extremely popular among gamers of all ages, and as a result, it’s been in high demand for new and exciting game structures. In anticipation of its upcoming update, Mojang is adding new structures like the Endling Outpost that players can explore and obtain powerful gear.

Endermen Now Have Baby Variant

Endermen now have a baby variant, and they’re every bit as terrifying as their adult counterparts. Enderpups can teleport at will, deal heavy damage with their claws and teeth, and are capable of healing themselves by feeding on any nearby monster meat(including players). It’s important to remember that you can use these abilities against them — if you get cornered or in trouble, try teleporting away or throwing some raw fish at your attackers!
