There’s a lot to It, but You Can Create Your Podcast on Substack.
Take your time and be patient
I was responding to comments on the content of my YouTube channel. There were more complaints about the sound quality. I strive to give my listeners what they want, so I ordered an external microphone from Amazon.com.
It’s good to have Mentors and Advisors
It helps that I’m a volunteer editor for Illumination Integrated publications. One of my fellow editors is also a podcaster. I asked him for advice because I wanted to try podcasting. I was armed with Kurt Dillon’s awesome suggestion not to spend too much money on a microphone.
He also suggested I download the free Audacity Podcasts Editing software. I followed his advice and downloaded the software. I also had to set up a free Audio.com account.
I’m not an expert yet, but practice makes perfect
I recorded and uploaded a few episodes. The sound quality is great, except for the crackling noises. I don’t know where those are coming from, but I will figure it out. It’s interesting stuff to learn. I will master it like I did on YouTube. It’s a matter of time and practice.
