👉 KGR (Keyword Golden Ratio) — My One & Only SEO Hacks
The Keyword Golden Ratio (KGR) is a data-driven way to find keywords that are actually underserved on the internet.
Still confused?
Here, KGR is: The number of Google results with the keyword phrase in the title divided by the monthly search volume, where the search volume is less than 250.
- If the KGR is less than 0.25, you should rank in the top 10 as soon as your page is indexed.
- If your KGR is between 0.25 and 1, you should be in the top 250 and it should be pretty fast.
I strongly suggest that you use the formula and look for KGR values under 0.25 at first.
My Case Study: How I Used KGR and Ranked at the First Position on Google. (50K Organic Traffic)
I found a term, “Alternatives to DocuSign Free”, with a search volume of 700 as per Ahrefs, which is very good.
According to the KGR formula, I first checked allintitle.
Only 8 results — that seems awesome, right??
Applied the KGR formula…
Finally, I got a KGR ratio is 0.01, which means it was less than 0.25.
According to KGR, if the ratio is less than 0.25, we can consider it good.
