Simple Habits That Can Make Anyone 1 Percent Everyday!

The very first question you will ask is: Why one should get just 1% better every day?

As mentioned in the bestseller book, Atomic Habits: growing just 1 percent every day, makes you 37.78x times better at the end of the year.

Not 1x or 2x but almost 38 times better. Are you kidding me?

No, I am not. That’s the truth.

Calculate it yourself, this is the formula: 1.01^365 (1.01 raise to power 365), which gives you 37.78.

Amazed? Now understand the other half too.

Getting 1% worse everyday takes you 00.03 times behind in your life.

So which side you would like to go?

Better side right! So let's learn those stupidly simple habits to get 1 percent better every day.

Habit #1 | Make Your Bed

Make your bed before sleeping at night and immediately after waking up. Why?

How It Can Make You One Percent Better every day?

Well! This builds discipline. Doing things repeatedly for a longer period makes you stick to it.

As you become good at it and build a very powerful thing i.e. Discipline.

Also, another thing you can do to get good at discipline is: Cleaning your plate after lunch, dinner, etc.

These simple habits may look negligible but make a huge impact later.

Habit #2 | Move, Hydrate, Sunlight

Move: It means doing some exercise. You don’t need to go the gym and do some intense workouts in the beginning days.

Rather start warming exercises with some push-ups and squats. You can do it on a daily basis because it is very simple.

Hydrate: Download a drinking app from the Play Store or App store. Whichever OS you are using.

It will make a good schedule for you like the amount of water you need in a day and remind you accordingly.

Keeping ourselves hydrated will make you work with full brain potential.

Sunlight: Try to soak sunlight for at least 10 minutes in the morning. Morning sunlight is very good for our health.

As it is less intense. So helps make Vitamin D which is very essential for our body.

Habit #3 | Reading

Today we all know the importance of reading as reading culture is going on.

So I don’t think I need to explain all the benefits. But the only thing I will suggest is to start reading nonfiction stuff for at least 10 minutes daily.

You will surely see a difference in your life.

Habit #4 | Prioritize Your 3 MITs

MITs are the most important tasks which you have to do daily at any cost.

Prioritise them wisely. It should only include the things which are very important to do.

Otherwise, it can make a huge impact on your life.

Habit #5 | Schedule Your Day

I think it is very common but very simple too.

How?

Here is the tip (To Make It More Simple For You):

Don’t try to schedule everything. I had seen people scheduling everything.

Keep it realistic otherwise, it will definitely fail.

Habit #6 | Run Pomodoros

If you don’t know about the Pomodoro technique. Then, read this.

Pomodoro is a simple technique in which you keep yourself in deep work for 25 minutes straight and then take a break of 5–10 mins.

It is very powerful because you don’t have to stay focused for a longer duration.

That’s why it is very easy to follow. Try it yourself.

Habit #7 | Connect

Try to connect with someone smarter than you.

This will kill your ego as you are listening to someone who is better than you in that field.

So chances of growth are higher.

Habit #8 | Avoid These Words

These are few words that limits your ability. Speaking these words makes you weak.

Understand that: Whatever you speak every day fits in your subconscious mind.

So you don’t want something to fit in your mind that will decrease the chances of growth.

Habit #9 | Dress For Success

Every day whether it is your working day or not dress as a successful person.

It doesn’t mean, You need to wear formal or expensive blazers.

Instead keep yourself tidy as when you will look in mirror, You should be proud of yourself.
