My New Year’s resolution starts now, 100 days before the New Year, or 94, 93 days… When will this article come out?
Hello world! Did you know that there are less than 100 days left of the year?
It came as a shock to me.
It seems (a bit) unfair that time is flying by so quickly, yet changes are so slow. And time goes by so effortlessly, yet any improvement seems to be so laborious.
But that’s life. Right? And we have to make the best of it. So, if you’re anything like me and you want to cram some achievements into the final days of 2022, now is the time to give them a serious push. And that’s exactly what I intend to do with the final days of 2022. Of course, I am doing it in a community (London Writers' Salon); I need all the support I can get. I tried this last year, and life completely got in the way. But last year I didn’t make the best of the community. This year I will. And I will NOT let other parts of my life take me away from this, because this is what I want my life to become. I want to be a professional writer. That takes discipline and saying ‘no’ wherever possible. Others will just have to accept that.
