11 things I wish to know when I was 20 years old
1. No one is coming to save your problems. Your Life is 100% your Responsibility.
Not your friends.
Not your family.
Not the government
They can offer advice and tools.
But at the end of the day, it’s up to You to change your mind, view your situation from a new perspective, and act regardless of how you feel.
2. Your 9–5 is someone’s passive income. Find new ways to make money and create yours.
3. You don’t need to read 100 self-help books, all you need is Self discipline and Action.
4. Comfort is the worst addiction and cheap ticket to depression.
5. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them. Don’t compete.
6. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.
7. Don’t tell people more than they need to know, respect your privacy.
8. Knowing when to leave is important. The job, the party, the relationship. Don’t stick with the toxic environment.
9. People change. Love hurts. Friends leave. Things go wrong. But remember that life goes on.
10. Most people aren’t loyal to you. They’re loyal to their need of you. Once that changes, so does their loyalty.
11. Learn to live when people leave.
