You know the drill. You sit down at your desk, you have your to-do list, and you try to focus on work tasks that you know will move your projects or business forward. Or maybe you are attempting to read the book that has been on your nightstand for months. Sometimes reading the paper is too hard and your mind starts to drift.

The problem is, that you cannot seem to concentrate on the task at hand. Instead of working or reading, your mind keeps wandering. Before you can solve the issue, you need to know that there are 3 main reasons you are having trouble concentrating. Knowing which one applies to you is the first step in overcoming the issue.

The Sleep Foundation completed a study only to find:

  • 8% of Americans feel fully rested after a night’s sleep.
  • 61% of Americans struggle to fall asleep
  • 30-48% suffer from insomnia
  • 10-30% suffer from chronic insomnia
