Let’s take a closer look at the soul-destroying mistakes we make about who we are and our individual worth.

Soul Destroying Mistake #1 is Believing You Are Worthless

Think about a newborn baby. Can you imagine looking at the beauty and innocence of a newborn child with disgust and thinking they’re worthless?
It’s unfathomable. Even a newborn with a serious and visible disability evokes feelings of compassion for the challenges they will encounter in life.

You were once that innocent and beautiful newborn. You were born into this world with the worth of unlimited possibilities. Picture who you were in that moment.

Believing you are worthless comes from destructive interactions with others. It comes from your parent, teacher, or another person of influence telling you that you are worthless, that you are stupid or inept. Because of their perceived power, you trust that this person is right and you embrace their erroneous and destructive description of your lack of value.

This was always about them. It was never about you. They were wrong!
