5 Extremely Helpful Job Search Portals Freshers are Unaware Of!
Recession! Ahh.. Did I scare you with just one word? Sorry about that, but this is the current state of our freshers, who have just arrived at the market and are utterly afraid of the situation!! People all around them are only adding to the concern among recent graduates who were unable to get a job during campus placements.
Even those who have an offer in hand are sceptical of the next day. So, in this trying moment, I understand the stress and anxiety that my fellow graduates are experiencing. So I’m here today to assist you from my end by providing you with resources that may help you find your first job, which might be just a click away!! So let’s get started!
1. LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is a hub for the most legitimate job postings available on the internet. People in today’s world must and should have a LinkedIn presence. You can view and apply for job openings posted by companies you like in based on your skill. You can also directly connect and talk with HR managers and DM your questions if you have any!! You can also learn a lot of things for free and improve your abilities for free by using LinkedIn’s free certifications and many beneficial resources available on the platform. So, go ahead and make a LinkedIn profile now!
2. SHL Amcat (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test).
Amcat is more beneficial to B.Tech graduates. When I was exposed to Amcat during my campus placements, half of us had no idea that firms could bypass the written round if you had a high Amcat score. So, basically, you’ll have to take two examinations in amcat: aptitude+technical and English. Following that, companies on the platform can immediately invite you to apply for employment depending on your tested abilities. You can always improve your score by retaking the amcat once every three months. They will also email you job opportunities based on your score. As a result, I urge that you take amcat.
