Generally speaking, we are extraordinarily hard on ourselves with regard to being off-base and settling on major choices throughout everyday life.

• If our initial five connections end with separation, we believe we’re bound to be distant from everyone else for eternity.

• If we go to class, get a degree and go through years preparing for a vocation that we wind up abhorring, we feel like a disappointment for not having everything made sense of.

• If we have a fantasy about composing a book or beginning a non-benefit or making something of significant worth and we discover the primary attempt, we state that we’re not equipped to deal with this.
