5 Mistakes I Made When Decorating My First Apartment

This is the first article in a series of stories that I want to share with you describing the worst mistakes I made when introducing myself to an adult and independent life.

Being an adult isn’t always as fun and exciting as we thought it could be when we were little. To be completely honest, the moments in which one can appreciate being an adult are only very few.

Independence and freedom, are the most beautiful keywords.

But most of the time being an adult involves having responsibilities, from the largest to the smallest such as furnishing your apartment.

And that’s exactly where I wanted to get to today!

Just like everyone, I wasn’t taught the right way to be an adult either. I only knew the basics, of course, I have been taught respect and manners, but being an adult is something that no one can teach you, you can only learn it with experience. So you inevitably make mistakes, from which you can only learn and try not to repeat.
