Most companies in the world don’t really reply to their potential candidates on the interview outcome. Possible that you are not failing the interview just yet, and there are reasons why employers don’t reply to you to communicate the outcome.

Most of the candidate rant:

“Is it so hard to let me know the result of the interview so that I can move on?” — Some candidate.

Let’s take a look at the five reasons why employers don’t let you know the outcome of the interview:

1) To keep the door open

They do this because they like your resume and skills, and have great bonding with you. The employer might put you on the KIV (keep in view) list to consider and compare you with another candidate. Or they might offer a few candidates and wait for their response.

Replying to a “failed” status for the interview closed the possibility of getting you onboard the company.
