The good news is that you can control how you feel about yourself. By the way, I like most things about you. You don’t have to be afraid to say what you think all your life because it won’t be accepted or worse.

After all, people will laugh at you. If you work on your self-esteem every day and follow the tips below, you will feel a lot better about yourself and the world around you. What to do then:

He only says nice things about you

Don’t bother yourself. Stop beating yourself up over your mistakes and remembering them over and over again. We’re all surrounded by rejection and lack of love, so I urge you not to give yourself these feelings.

You can’t call yourself stupid, silly, useless, backward, etc., even in your inner monologue. Talk about yourself as a loved one or a baby and give yourself as many compliments as you can. I’ll do well in everything one day!”

When something you do works, people usually thank you or someone else for their luck, but when it works for them, they all blame themselves. It’s unfair.

Keep your back straight and your head up

Do you remember how good people go to the movies? They walk slowly, with their backs straight, and they don’t shake or rush. They go at their own pace, and everyone gets used to it.

Try not to think, “Well, they’re good, that’s how it is in movies, but we still have a long way to go before they…” Yes, the movies are about kings and queens, but self-confident people do the same things in real life, and we can learn from them.

Just do this exercise every day: straighten your shoulders as much as you can, lift your eyes off the ground, and be careful with your hands, how you sit, and how you breathe. Fix the way you’re moving.

Psychophysiology sends signals both from the mind to the body and from the body to the mind. This means that if the body tells the mind that you are sure of yourself, the mind will get rid of all kinds of blockages and fears.

Love and pay attention to each other

When you start giving yourself time and attention, you’ll start to feel thankful and happy inside. Like a flower bud that barely opens if it doesn’t get enough water.

Don’t forget to give yourself a boost. After a hard day, do something nice for yourself. Do something more for yourself, even if it’s not something you need. For example, go to the hairdresser not because you have split hairs but just to get your hair straightener. Go to the gym and get a massage afterward.

You can get by without all of that, yes. But it is very important to know that you are taking care of yourself. Then your sick addiction to taking care of the people around you will go away on its own, and you will feel free. After all, inner freedom is what self-respect is all about.

Deepen your knowledge

When someone smart, well-educated, or an expert in a certain field realizes this, it boosts his self-esteem. It makes people around her admire her. They praise and encourage her, which affects how his work turns out.

Read, watch, listen, and learn. Even more so now that everyone has a lot of options. Not always does learning something new have to do with your work. You could do this as a hobby. The important thing is to find your field and start learning a lot about it.

Choose your entourage

If a person wants to get out of a bad mood and complain about a rut, he needs to sort out his friends and acquaintances. There will always be people around you who are never happy and always complain and point the finger at someone else. Why? We always hang out with people who look just like us.

Clean up where you are. Ask people to help you change. If they want to do this, they should do it with someone else. If they don’t want to, they will eventually get tired of you, start saying that you’ve changed, and say that you’ve “lost contact.”

When a person changes, his friends and family also change. Your job isn’t to shut the door on people with whom you disagree, but to open it for new people with whom you’d like to get along and with whom you’ll want to talk. Celebrate when you see them, and the change won’t come.
