Building confidence through journaling

My top habit for this year is to journal each day.

In the past, I’ve used the practice of Morning Pages to do a brain dump first thing in the morning to get the writing juices flowing, but this year I want to be more focused on my writing.

This year I want to use journaling to focus on personal growth and self-empowerment.

By giving myself a safe space to express my thoughts, feelings, and experiences, I think I can gain insight into who I am and how to gain control of my life.

Here are five ways I am going to use journaling this year as a tool for self-empowerment:

Make a practice of writing daily

Writing each day consistently will be key to my personal growth and self-empowerment. I will start by setting aside just 10 minutes per day and gradually increase the frequency as I gain confidence in my journaling abilities.

Journal Prompt:

What steps can I take today to make a positive difference in my life?

Being honest about my thoughts…
