We live longer, but we work more and more. According to the Economic Policy Institute, net productivity in the United States grew by 59.7% between 1979 and 2019. And yet, the retirement age is constantly increasing. Some proponents of a higher retirement age believe that the full retirement age should gradually increase to 68, 69, or 70.

And that would be fine if you love your job and have a health of 25 years old. But reality shows something different. About 50 % of people in the US hate their jobs.

Some of my friends who have jobs hate them and undergo treatments. This is their coping mechanism: therapy and pills. I am sure it can help in some cases, but it would be more sensible to eliminate the very reason for stress, anxiety, and other health problems.

When you are young, you can handle a lot. But once you get to a certain age (for most, it is about 40), not only is your body changing, but you can not take more BS. This is a good reason to introduce changes in your life.
