People often associate wisdom with old age.

Wise people have lived long enough to have had a wide range of experiences. They can often share their valuable insights and give helpful advice to those seeking it.

But wisdom isn’t just limited to old age or formal teachings. In fact, it’s a quality that anyone can cultivate no matter what stage of life they are in. As Benjamin Franklin rightly said, “The doors of wisdom are never shut.”

So what is wisdom?

It’s an amalgamation of knowledge, experience, and insight that allows individuals to approach life with depth and understanding.

Wisdom doesn’t come from reading countless facts and information on life. Nor does it come solely from reading books about wisdom.

A lot of it comes from our actual life experiences and understanding of life. All the things that come from our experiences allow us to synthesize knowledge that helps us apply and use it in a thoughtful way.

So, if wisdom is a quality that can be cultivated, anyone can grow in it if they choose to.

Let’s look into six qualities of people with wisdom.

1) Wise people are open-minded
