If you had to compare the intensity of humans and your life equivalent to the colors black or white, which one would you choose?

You must be wondering why "Black" or "White"? Why not others?

What if you mix either of these colors with others?

One darkens, and the other lightens.

What if you compare humans with these colors?

  • The former (white) will bring blessings and miracles in your life.
  • The latter (black) will bring curses or envy.

Every human you choose on your ladder is the next step you will be taking toward your dream or success. If you see life from the other side, the hard part is, "Your success always makes you pay a hefty cost."

Envy is the most common trait a person can possess when they observe the grass being greener on the other side.

Our sacrifices and learnings sometimes make us believe that everyone is a blessing in disguise, and we tend to forgive everyone easily.

You will understand in the long run the bets you have made. It will either make gains or make you bear the losses.

Some people are so focused on bringing others down that they fail to realize it’s the mentality that keeps them at the bottom.

-Morgan Richard Olivier

There is no hard and fast way to ghost people who are trying to darken your life. If your dream is your top priority in life to achieve your ends, then their goal is to cut your dreams off your thoughts. For them, what’s the ultimate dream? To see you,

  • Hitting the ground faster than reaching the skies.
  • Intoxicating yourself in the comparison game of "Others VS I."
  • Getting stuck between anxiousness and happiness, so the former can be used as a trigger point.
  • Shattering while you are just on the verge of catching your dreams or goals.
  • Boiling yourself in isolation with an inability to convince others.

You might have come across people in different disguises. You can have a complex day-in and day-out routine, locking yourself in the boundaries set by these people.

No matter how hard you try to bring yourself up, there’s someone out there working just as hard to put you down.

These are dark shades of your ongoing life.

What or how do they look like?

7 Dark-Shaded People Trying To Bring You Down

The darker shades of people can be in any form. What’s the worst part? Some are seen with or without glasses, while a few get blurred even if you have the best vision. Who are they?

1. The Talent Destroyers

Everyone has a talent that no one can copy. You either create or get gifted by the universe.

When your dreams get tightly coupled with your talent, you tend to move to your dreams at a faster pace.

There is always a space for the gap between you and the rest of the people around you. This gap eventually brings you tight competition, not from the talent perspective but in the form of egoistic clashes.

They stop supporting your talent because you are leveling up with each challenge. This abrupt halt of supportiveness is purely to curb the cracks from growing in their life and alter your path so that they halt you from growing higher.

2. The Hurdle Builders

In the rat race to be on the top, a sense of enviousness fills the nerves of people who see you excelling.

When everything is going "right," something has to be "left." Those left are the people who are unable to digest your win-win life.

You spike them with your win, and they spike you with hurdles. It burns their ego, for which you start paying a heavy price. You try to keep building walls, and they keep halting the supply of raw materials.

3. The Doubt Injectors

You lose when you believe more in what others speak than in yourself.

They create self-doubt in you, where you get trapped in thinking about the pettiest things of right and wrong.

It slashes down your confidence level, halts your adaptive thinking capabilities, and a feeling of anxiousness arises in every step you take.

4. The Change Decliner

Your changes are like adhesives on your cracks of growth. One can’t resist when these adhesives start changing your life positively.

Change teaches you the way you can shape your life. Your change can bring a mental breakdown in others.

When others see hurdles in their path due to your good changes, they manipulate you. You observe a strange change because your change doesn’t benefit them because you ought to be 'evolving.'

5. The Negative Seed Sower

Negativity these days dominates your positivity with a slight increase in your anxious levels.

When you keep crossing your hurdles and showcasing your achievements, enviousness in others will push them to sow negative seeds in your life.

They will stop being happy about your achievements and bombard you with multiple negative angles, so you feel you are not where you are supposed to be.

6. The Face Switcher

The extent to which people can go down for their benefit is unimaginable.

It marks the beginning of declining trust and an increase in their benefits.

From settling on a common point in the meeting to a quick change by the time you are out of it, these face switchers can toxicate you with their rapid changes.

They’ll first take you under control by showing one side of their personality and switch personalities once they benefit from you.

7. The Life Controller

The most commonly seen but even the most ignored.

'YOU' create your life. What if the 'YOU' is missing out of it? Would it make sense even if your life exists?

When you handle the control of life in other’s hands for whatever reason, you tend to surrender yourself, becoming a slave in your own life.

When they become aware of your wins, they cut your wings, so you stop flying high.

The Broader View

These intruders can either take the hard and fast way or slowly poison your life. Interestingly, we don’t learn despite being locked in these walls.

It is not about being the same as others but sometimes trying to be wise to outplay all these disturbances in your life.

You get shaped by the significant signs these people keep showing when they are trying to bring you down.

Learning from these signs will help you tackle similar intrusions, helping you maintain distance from those lines.

Walk away from people who put you down.

Walk away from fights that will never be resolved.

Walk away from trying to please people who will never see your worth.

The more you walk away from things that poison your soul. The healthier you will be.
