Real passion is more than just a fleeting interest or hobby; it’s a deep and unwavering commitment to something that brings meaning and purpose to your life.

Whether you’re just starting out on your search or looking to reignite a lost passion, there are several ways to uncover what truly excites and motivates you.

1) Pay Attention to What you do in daily life:

Maybe you already know your passion! But you did not realize it. All of us have 24 hours per day, so check on your daily routine and ask yourself: where did I spend time subconsciously? It could be exercise, reading, even video games, social media, research, and etc.

Write down all the things about you— it can be a skill such as programming, or drawing, a hobby such as cooking, or even your cat or toys. Keep trying, and checking while enjoying and you are very likely to find your passion in the near future.

You can also dig deeper into your daily routine. For example: if you like fitness and social media, are you also up to creating related content? Do you like creative works in general, etc?

2) Try More Things:

By exposing yourself to a diverse range of experiences and challenges, you can discover what excites you, what makes you feel fulfilled, and what ignites your curiosity.

It can be an opportunity for growth and self-discovery, and to uncover passions and interests that you may never have known you had.

You may not find your passion with one or two trials, and I too :). Keep trying and enjoying the process, and finally, you will get some things to enjoy and advance for a long time.

3) Passions are not perfect:

As much as we love doing something, there are times when it can become tedious or challenging; whether it’s writing, playing music, or even just reading. There are moments when the joy and excitement fade away, and it feels more like a chore than a hobby.

Pushing through those tough times can be incredibly rewarding. It allows us to grow and develop our skills and often leads to a renewed sense of enthusiasm for what we love to do.

4) It is Common that you did not Find your Passion now:

If you’re feeling like you haven’t found your passion yet, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

It’s common to feel uncertain or unsure about what your true calling is in life. Sometimes it takes time, experience, and trial and error to discover what really excites and fulfills you.

Remember, your passion may not be something that you’re immediately drawn to, and that’s okay. Keep an open mind and continue to explore different opportunities and experiences. It’s never too late to find your passion, so don’t give up! Just keep searching, and you’ll find what sets your soul on fire.

5) Stick on one or two things at a time:

It’s important to explore different interests and hobbies, but trying to do too many things at once can be overwhelming and may not allow you to fully immerse yourself in each activity. By narrowing your focus, you can devote more time and energy to each passion, allowing you to truly discover if it’s something you enjoy and want to pursue further.

Additionally, taking the time to reflect on what brings you joy and fulfillment can help you identify your true passions. Whether it’s through journaling, meditating, or simply taking a walk and thinking about your interests, carving out some time for introspection can be a valuable step in the process of finding your passion.

6) You are not looking for passion, but doing things and enjoying:

Sometimes, the pressure to find our passion can be overwhelming and cause unnecessary stress. (I’m with you, especially when peer pressure exists)

It’s important to focus on doing things that you genuinely enjoy and find fulfilling. Whether it’s a hobby, a sport, or a creative pursuit, the key is to find activities that bring you joy and make you feel good.

Just like the small child not looking for fun in the playground, but have fun directly.

The act of doing things that you enjoy can be a passion in itself, and it can lead you to unexpected opportunities and experiences. Don’t worry about not having a clear-cut passion. Just enjoy the journey and savor the moments of happiness that come from doing things that you love.

7) You have more than enough time to learn it:

Once you’ve found something that truly ignites your curiosity and excitement, you have all the time in the world to learn and master it.

Learning a new skill or pursuing a passion can be a lifelong journey, and it’s never too late to start. Don’t worry about comparing yourself to others or feeling like you’re not progressing fast enough. Everyone learns at their own pace, and the most important thing is that you’re enjoying the process and making progress toward your goals.
