Many celebrities aren’t just vegan — they are vegan activists, using their fame and fanbase to advocate for a more compassionate world. Today, I present eight fascinating examples from the Black music scene:

1 — RZA

Wu-Tang Clan’s frontman, RZA, isn’t just dropping rhymes, he’s also dropping meat from his plate since the ’90s. He emphasizes how conscious eating reflects an understanding that you are what you eat, and he chooses a diet free from the stress and sickness of animals. Inspired by him, eight out of ten members of the Wu-Tang Clan have embraced veganism.
