Running a successful personal brand isn’t easy. I’ve seen the struggle firsthand as a marketing manager and freelance web designer. The hardest part is consistency. It doesn’t matter if you’re an Instagram influencer or a yoga instructor running a business under your full name… If you want to grow a following, you have to post content on-brand and often.

Last year, I built a website that I was never paid for. My client not only refused to pay, she straight-up ghosted me, which I might have been able to accept if she was anything other than a yoga instructor. But no, I was ripped off by a yogi who posts inspirational quotes on Facebook about “good karma” and “being kind.” Of course, these posts are never consistent and never on-brand, which brings me back to my original point.
