80% Of Achieving Your Goal Is Writing The Steps

And here’s how you do it

As tiny as assembling a chair to as massive as world domination, a goal is just a list of steps — and that’s honestly it.

Whether it’s five steps or 500, if you write out the steps correctly and check them off one by one, you will achieve your goal.

Now we have some motivation. Our ass is ablaze, and we want to power-write down some steps — but that’s also a recipe for tripping.

People mess this process up all the time because they write the wrong steps for themselves:

  • Their collection of steps could be more logical.
  • They sometimes put in steps that don’t make sense.
  • They assume a step is necessary when it isn’t and isn’t necessary when it is.

Hell, sometimes steps need to be repeated hundreds of times — and it’s with these points in mind we should write, rewrite, and scrutinize our plan of action.

And we’ll get to that, but…

The act of simply starting to list the steps to our goals (provided we know that we’ll make mistakes) will answer about a dozen questions we didn’t even know we had.
