A Break Every Once In A While

With my exams coming up in around a month, here is a poem on the importance of taking breaks every once in a while. This one’s not just for students but for everyone who’s trapped in the chaotic and competitive modern world and have simply forgotten to live; everything is going to be okay.

A new beginning is at hand

Amidst the chaos and the sand

A chance to start anew and fresh

To let go of the past and rest

We must take breaks, every once in a while

And let our minds, and bodies reconcile

For in the stillness, we find our peace

And our worries, they slowly cease

Let go of what you cannot control

And let the universe play its role

Accept life the way it is

And find joy in the little things that exist

For every ending, is a new start

And every break, mends the heart

Look forward to the brighter things in life

And let go of the troubles and strife

A new beginning, is a clean slate

To write a story, without any weight

So take that break, my friend, and rest

For a new beginning, is just the best.
