A Day in the Life
Running from everything and everyone
Neither needs applause nor does he require praise
Escaping this mess of a life — he struggles to make
to reach the ones he adores — he idly waits, solitude
Feeling the misery tied to depression,
it is numbness from everything that rests — now
he knows what does it feel like, in the minds of those
who ache to commit suicide, a sad take at life
They never really want to end their life,
they just want themselves to be released from
this awful state — that never quits becoming repressed
thus it just sets — this feeling of decay slowly suffocating within
As you roam across the plains, in search
of something to replenish your soul, that never receives zest
