A Healthy Happy Hibiscus “Hello!”
The Holy Hibiscus Cherishes Summer and Celebrates Life
As I climbed out of the Long Island Sound fresh from my morning high-tide swim, the long-awaited first Hibiscus flower of my peaceful prized perennial (how’s that for alliteration?) beckoned me with a smile.
The blossom’s joy would not be denied. Nascent buds clustered ‘round, contributing soon to be ‘even more pleasurable’, plentiful splendor.
I couldn’t dream of doing anything other than commending the grace of the divine.
Complementing my inner celebration, the alliterative cascade continued.
“How pure, propitious, and picturesque!”
“Poetic, pleasing, providential.”
“Congratulations!”
We agreed I’d be remiss were I not to share my inaugural blossom’s majesty with a world awaiting moments of majesty.
Now, Hibiscuses — some might find ‘Hibisci’ more fitting nomenclature for expressions of ebullient grace — come in an astonishing array of varieties.
