Rules are Made for People Who Need Rules.
You can’t legislate Human Behavior, but you can practice and teach better manners.
Most rules are made to protect us or prevent us from succumbing to what Religion defines as the Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth.
Politicians call it A Normal Day at Work.
What are the biggest problems in the world today?
They’re the same problems that the animal kingdom has had since time began. Whether you believe humans evolved from monkeys, or that all living things were created by a single higher power, every human since Adam and Eve, Lucy and Ardi, have faced the same problems.
We need to eat and we need to procreate.
Problems occur when the thing you want to eat does not want to be eaten. Same with sex. Further complicating the problem, after you eat or have sex, you want more. And then there’s the problem that occurs when the thing you want to eat or have sex with belongs to someone else.
Food and sex are the two biggest causes of war and millions of people have died over them. Religion is the third cause. Politics is the fourth.
