Coming from one of the loudest stadiums in the US, (Century Link in Seattle for the Seattle Seahawks Football team), I was used to amplified noise, but was I ready for Japanese baseball?

First some background….

We stayed in Tokyo for 9 days, we were going to go to a few other cities in Japan, but Tokyo is huge, so we decided to see everything we could of Tokyo on this trip. We did change hotels 3 times to stay in 3 different areas. We spent the last 2 days at the Tokyo Dome Hotel to specifically see a baseball game.

Our tickets were purchased in the USA directly through the Tokyo Giants team (Yomuri Giants) based in the Tokyo Dome. The tickets actually went through e-tix.jp

We were told you could purchase them through a 3rd party company in the US or at any 7–11 in Japan but we chose directly through the website.

You can try to purchase tickets on game day at the stadium but some games, especially on the weekends can sell out. Buying the tickets as we did, isn’t difficult, you get both an email and phone notification, so you can print your tickets at home or pull it up on your phone.
