A poem for my sunrise
Despite our distance

So far away,
Yet you’re still present in me every moment.
Reflects in something silly, sincere, and constant.
This goes on.
It’s as if everything conspires in our favor, not just us.
You yourself are an excess and it’s so good.
It even ties knots, butterflies, and a tremendous ache for missing you,
having you in mind is one of my best sources of dopamine.
You are peace, magic.
That feeling of euphoria, that’s why I seek you out at the beginning of my days.
