J.R.R. Tolkien, the author of one of the most famous fiction series of all time: Lord of the Rings, passed away in 1973. Reversing his passing year and we have the number, in the exact order, as 3,7,9,1. Do you notice anything special?

Yes, it is the number of the rings built for each race in Lord of The Ring's storyline: the Elven, the Dwarf and the Human respectively, just like what is told in The Ring Verse [1]:

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,

Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,

One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,

One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them,

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

J RR Tolkien

Is it a coincidence? To myself, coincidences rarely happen, let alone 4 correct numbers at the same time. How is it possible? I guess there is no way for us to tell. Let’s just say it might be a destiny since the beginning for our beloved author, who we are grateful to have him walk the Earth.
