A Short Trip to Hyderabad

A three-day trip to the Indian city of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana.

On July 9th, I received an email confirming that my abstract was accepted for a Conference at a reputed institution in Hyderabad. It was confusing for me whether to opt for an online presentation or an offline presentation.

I was supposed to send an extended abstract by 10th August so that my presentation would be confirmed. Hence, I waited till that day to confirm my decision with the organisers.

On informing this to my parents, they were happy and excited. They insisted that we convert it to a trip. I liked that idea and approved it. A trip to Hyderabad was on our bucket list for a long time. Hence, the time had arrived to bring it to reality.

Day 0

We booked our tickets for the 5th night since it was cheaper. It was the festive season across India, which made tickets around that time very expensive. Hence, we had to compromise our valuable time to save money. My father, my mother and I were taking the flight from Kochi to Hyderabad. While my brother was joining us there from Bangalore. We were quite afraid of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Hyderabad that might disrupt our travel within the city.
