Most people want all the riches in life.

Few achieve them.

Why?

Because it’s hard. And often involves time and effort we are not willing to allocate for one focused cause.

So what can we do to keep ourselves on track when things get tough and we want to quit?

Adopt this game to get through the difficult periods

We are told that a huge sacrifice is needed to get to the top. And there is some truth in this. But this knowledge can stop us in our tracks.

When we sit down to do the hard work, our mind is programmed to not enjoy the activity and wants to seek distraction. This is why we tend to procrastinate. We are primed to avoid discomfort, so the temptation to check our phones or watch Youtube will be difficult to ignore.

However, some successful people have found a trick to navigate this battle themselves.

The trick is easy, but most don't do it.

England Cricket captain Ben Stokes discussed a way you can build a positive culture, no matter what the obstacle:

“Make it as fun as you can,”.
