Agree To Disagree
What the hell does that mean?
The first time I heard “Agree to disagree,” was in the late 1980s at a technical meeting discussing the design of a new product. In the sense I heard the phrase, it was rather duplicitous. I will discuss that in a minute.
What does “Agree to disagree” mean? In a word, nothing. It makes no sense.
