Alien Noises on Macbook Pro
The unheard whispers of AI revealed.
A couple of mornings ago, I was getting ready to take my seat at my workstation, which consists of my MacBook computer and a gigantic, external screen. Just a regular day, it seemed, to start my normal work routine — if you would ever call stomping between a dozen different gigs, simultaneously running on different windows a “routine.”
I know, I know. But this is my working style and I am probably too old to change — or am I ?
In trying to cope with morning chaos — where I usually have to deal with an intimidating inbox, actually two of them ; wait ! Three! That's the total number of mailboxes I am talking about; I do my morning ritual before I even get close to my desk. The ritual consists of some words I repeat — an affirmation kind of thing but more flimsy, then a text I have to read out loud. The latter makes me laugh by even hearing my voice so I rarely complete it. But hey, my Guru said I should do it, and I paid him six hundred, so i have to follow along. I think.
Anyway, on that sinister — for no apparent reason — morning, I skipped some of the aforementioned “routines”, leaving more room for what’s really important: Hydrate! Pun intended.
