‘All the world’s a stage’,

Each having a role to play

Never are you trained,

Never assigned a part

For you must figure it out

And master it on your own

Free to choose your role

Free to play it good or bad

With each passing day,

Try and outperform yourself

You are your only rival

And the only true critic…

By the day your act ends

Tears will flow instead of claps!

This is my first time being part of a Never-Ending poem! I was invited by Dennett.

The Never-Ending poem chain was started by Martin Rushton.

I am tagging 10 poets here for my new Never-Ending Poem prompt — Dreams. If you want to participate, write a poem for the prompt, create a new prompt for 10 more poets( or less) and publish it, also don't forget to tag me.

Here goes my list of five poets —

Sanjeev Yadav, Dr John Rose, Niru, Charlotte Zobeir Ali, Ram Bansal, Escape Pod, Manasi Diwakar, Luisito Gavara, Charles Roast, Emily in trouble
