I only started streaming recently in the last couple of years on Twitch. But before that, I had no idea what I was doing.

When I decided to start, one of my friends told me about OBS and how everyone uses this software for streaming their gaming videos on Twitch.

The purpose of this post is to introduce new streamers to OBS so that they can get ahead in their streaming journey.

What is OBS?

OBS stands for Open Broadcasting Software. It is a free and open-source software for video recording and live streaming.

It can be used to record and stream games, webcams, and other video sources. OBS is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Why is OBS so popular?

OBS is popular because it is free, open-source software that allows users to easily record and live-stream video content.

It is highly customizable and has many features, making it a versatile tool for various use cases such as gaming, live streaming, and video production.
