Here is how I explain it…

The best metaphor I can find for this idea is in the world of computer science. Let’s say you have a simulation with x number of agents or “bots” on a 2d plane with objects like in the real world.

The computer has to iterate through each agent separately and completely focus on his point of view in the simulator

The memory stored in one bot shall not be accessed by another in the source code. yet it’s the very same processor that jumps between all the agent and pretend that it is only one agent.

The only fathomable way of talking about this is to define a duality of two properties of reality — the observer and the ego. Both are properties of the consciousness but we tend to confuse these two a lot.

The observer is the reason why you are more than a walking biological machine with an unbelievable processing power made up of billions neurons.

There is only one observer and that observer is watching from every point in the universe.

Although, he only absorbs the memory and input from where he is, he won’t remember that he has been inside another body than the body where he is at the moment, because his brain receives inputs that are different from the other brains.

The different bodies and individuals that we perceive as having an own observer actually share the same observer — but they have a different ego. ego is the identity. it is your point of view, your reality, your memory, your beliefs your experiences, and your present.

Ego is the illusion of being a specific number of brain cells when you actually are the entire human being.

Ego is the illusion you had last night where the dream you lived in was all there is to be known.

Ego is the illusion you have now that you are a specific person living a specific life in a specific universe with specific rules and specific outcomes, when you are the entire reality.

Here is a thought experiment for you:

Let’s say you sit in a chair with 100 cams watching over London city. now clearly, you cannot see all images at the same time, and you most probably can’t even remember what you saw in the last cam as you are too focused in watching the current cam.

When you see through a cam, you imagine yourself standing right where the cam is watching, you identify yourself as a camera sitting in the roof, when you are a human sitting in a chair.

Now, the ego is the different identities you step inside for each cam you watch through. it is the illusion that you are not a human being in a chair, but a camera sitting in a specific corner in a subway in London

While the observer is the human being in the chair that technically is every camera it ever watches over.

This means that there is no objective reality as we know it. reality as a whole is infinite, and your reality and my reality are sub-realities, as well as every other fictional reality.

The most mind-bending part is that not only have you, are, and will be inside every living thing in the world, but also yourself 1 second ago, one year ago, 20 years ago.

You have been living in the middle age, at the time of dinosaurs; you are the fish that got out of the ocean roughly 385 million years ago.

You have even been in realities that make no sense to us humans, like parallel realities where we lived along the dinosaurs.

In an absolute infinity, everything must exist, even the things that cannot exist in our realm.

And as long as the universe is still alive, you will never die.

When your body dies, you will simply jump to another conscious being with the same memories as you.

Because originally, you are the universe.

And in fact, you already are another person and already have been; you just don’t know it because “for now,” you only have access to your neural network’s memories and not anyone else's.

And that’s it!
