JUDGING COMPUTER (ILLUSTRATION BY AUTHOR)

I work in the technology field as a product manager. We tackle major problems using advanced computer systems that can quickly recommend and predict solutions by computing tons of data. This is the area of Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Let's start with the definition because the term is in the same family, but one is broader, and the other is specific.

Artificial Intelligent — The ability of a machine to perform cognitive functions we associate with human minds, such as perceiving, reasoning, learning, interacting with the environment, problem-solving, and even exercising creativity.

Machine Learning — Algorithms that can detect patterns and learn how to make predictions and recommendations by processing data and experiences rather than by receiving explicit programming instruction.

We are at a point where a machine can make a calculated decision on its own, which raises many ethical questions; technologists and experts from different disciplines discuss what this means and how to handle it.

Now let's explore the judging God theory I am questioning.

We don't have to imagine a far future. AI can track every point of contact on the internet, no matter the location on the planet. And based on that, with a high probability, it can predict your next move. This is where…
