Artificial Sugars Can Cause This One Significant Problem
Be very mindful of the artificial sugars you use
I use sugar alternatives in my coffee and anything I bake.
It’s a natural alternative, stevia, so it doesn’t raise blood sugar.
I don’t regularly use stevia because I prefer to drink my coffee quite strongly.
However, eliminating artificial and refined sugar gives you full use of those inherent taste buds, which is wonderful.
But there are some sweeteners that you should be wary of — especially if you use them all the time and are diabetic!
Don’t be misled into thinking that sugar alternatives will not cause any issues with your blood sugar because they may.
Any artificial sweeteners that contain saccharine and sucralose have been found to increase blood sugar levels, even though this is the reason behind their creation!
These sweeteners also change your gut microbiome profile.
A study by Jotham Suez researcher tested sugar substitutes on blood sugar in 120 adults in Israel.
