I have a passion for game theory. I have adjusted my mental process to view almost every interaction with the world as a type of game (excluding love, art, and things of a more spiritual and intuitive nature). Doing this MAKES Donald Trump an easy read.
Game theory is an approach to decision-making where we are presented with limited conditions of scarce resources, scarce information, as well as competition from other players.
This doesn’t need to be complex, though researchers in game theory have been awarded numerous Nobel Prizes. Games can be played against ourselves (the card game Solitaire) in single-person games or against other people, places, and things. These are usually called multiplayer games.
Some complex games (AI-driven) may require strong mathematical skills.
These are skills that I never developed into personal strengths in my life. Not particularly strong in mathematics, I was stumped about how I might apply game theory to my own life. I was surprised to discover at that point that though many experts in game-based thinking have these skills…
