Start to Form Your Own Opinion

Social media has completely destroyed our way of forming our own opinions.

We read headlines, without clicking onto the articles, and deem it as a fact.

We read stuff that are only suited to our agenda. We believe what we want to believe, and shut out any form of ideation that goes against our agenda.

Our social media profiles are our own little propaganda machines.

"There is a reasonable amount of certainty that we can show a patient what there is, but we cannot hand out the thing which he ought to do.

So when a patient complains that he knows exactly what he might do, I say: Well, you are in the position of everybody who knows what he might do; he has now to set to work to do at least something of it and to find out how to do it.

There would be no difficulty in life if one always knew beforehand how to do a thing.

There would be no difficulty in life if one always knew beforehand how to do a thing.

Life is some sort of art and not a [straight] rail or a ready-made product to be had at every corner.

Nobody can live it for you or instead of you. Your life is what you try to live. If I should try to put you through something it would be my life and not yours.

But when you die, nobody else will die for you or instead of you. It will be entirely and exclusively your own affair." — Carl Jung

Read widely. Have a proper discourse. Free your mind.

Right winged? Don’t just read fox news. Left winged? Don’t just go onto New York Times or Huffington Post.

The cliché saying goes, there are three sides to every story. His, hers, and the truth.

There is no way to determine what the truth is, unless it’s factually correct i.e. The Earth Is ROUND.

The only way for us to progress as a society, and to grow as individuals, is to open your mind to ideologies that goes against your very own beliefs.

Cancel culture is inherently toxic. Let’s do better as humans. Use your words, with tact, of course. Engage the brain, stop living a dull life.

Groupthink is not a panacea for one's growth. To be banal, is pernicious.
