“BE ANGRY, AND DO NOT SIN,”

I had once married an ex-police officer who scared the daylights out of me with his fits of anger. His dad was the same way.

I loved his mother. Sharing my fear with her, she would say, “Don’t fret, love, his bark is worse than his bite!”
