Behind closed doors, perhaps the most dangerous place to be.

The going ons unbeknownst to many or most

Rest assured, you can bank on just one thing

There will be insecurity

Behind closed doors, the bribes get wagered

They are dealt out amongst selected kin

Dare not knock or make a sound

No, not while you’re complicit or endangered

Behind closed doors, people are beaten in deed or word

The shaping, moulding, pressing, scolding is not what it’s portrayed to be

Facades and lies to dodge and twist

A truer certainty you may never have heard

Behind closed doors, lives are taken by themselves

Convinced that the pain will end with me

Enduring and transferred it lives in fear

Through papers they say farewells

Behind closed doors, the evil will fester without doubt

Whispers are both spread and subdued no matter the door

Fragility and misappropriation, the two go hand in hand

Behind closed doors, knock and hear them shout

Behind closed doors, perhaps the most dangerous place to be.

The going ons unbeknownst to many or most

Rest assured, you can bank on just one thing

If you say nothing, you’ll never be free

ILLUMINATION

Curious mind, deep soul, questioning life, wandering definition. A trans disciplinary designer doing his failing best to take the world in.
