It doesn’t feel modern, right? Where are all of your friends already left the town and you are the only one in your home with your family? And some people from your neighborhood ask you ‘Oh didn’t you get out of town to study’.

But I don’t care about them. You learn many things in being at your home that a friend or a place cannot give you. I am not against people who live far away from their homes in their teens but I just need to address that it is not bad to be at your home because many people don’t accept this thing.

And for no reason they want to go out of their hometown because it is a trend and sometimes it is necessary to go out of your town to study at a good university or pursue a better career.

The important thing that I learned about being at home is about my parents.

As a child or a teen, we always want something from our parents like ‘Mom I need this much money tomorrow to go on a picnic’ or ‘ I want to buy this thing’, we didn’t get much time in our teenage to understand our parents because of our life circumstances but this is the time where we get conscious enough to understand other persons as they are.

Being close to your parents teaches you many things about them like ‘how they react when a problem comes in their life, what are their fears or what their childhood is like’, from all these questions you will know many things about them.

And from all of their negative or positive traits, you can also correct your life like, I see anger as the thing that comes as a problem in my dad’s life. So I always being aware that anger is not good for me.

The second thing is I have enough time to spend with myself every day and also my friends don’t disturb me because they are busy with their work.

Being alone is the best thing that I get in my life because oh bro.. this thing entirely changed me and my life.

I don’t have any pressure of any work plus I am alone. So I use this time as a self-improvement time, I try different skills, learn about my behaviors and patterns of life, and deep core thoughts in my mind.

I already know this time will never come back when I have the freedom to do as many things as I can and doing things literally tells you many things about yourself because whatever thing you do, you add your essence to it.

Before starting any business, finding true love, or beginning your adulthood, this thing will act as a cherry on top of the cake and that is knowing yourself.

knowing yourself is not a one-time learning skill, it is a journey that teaches you many things about yourself at every point of your life it never ends, but starting it or taking action toward it is an important thing to do.

knowing yourself builds your confidence, and teaches you to believe in your ideas.

I think the biggest thing that I learned in my teenage is ‘you are more than any success or failure’. And just think for a second how big thing it is to accept this in your teenage because I have a half-life as it is to explore but now I know if any difficulties come in the future I will not break or depressed or if anyone tells me something about myself or if life stands me in a dark place then I know that who I am and what is my worth and capabilities.

I hope you all like it if yes then press the clap icon and if you want to read more from me you can subscribe to my newsletter.

Thank you
