You were supposed to be my friend
I found out who you are in the end
You spin little webs behind my back
I gave you my trust, give it back

You were never a friend at all
I can’t forgive for what you stole
Our highest highs now deepest lows
You drew first blood and let it flow

That fight between us was the worst
I cracked your rib, my lip you burst
We were friends through everything
But you left when I was suffering

You took what was precious to me
You took her hand and helped her flee
When I was most in need of help
You both can simply burn in hell

I didn’t break — just a little bend
This is what it’s like to lose a friend
Bonds forged in never ending summer
I shed no tears now that it’s over

I will never see you again
May God be with you, peace, amen
