Are you wasting valuable time reinventing the wheel every time you have to solve a problem in your business?

In an ideal world, when we have a problem, we’d solve it and never have to deal with it again. But in the real world, the same (or very similar) problems will occur over and over.

When you treat a known problem as a new problem, you’re wasting time and money.

That’s why you need to create a database of problems and solutions. Make it a simple, searchable, easily accessible system that lists the problems and describes the steps that were taken to solve them. Adding the situation and solution to the database should be the required final step in solving the problem.

When a problem arises, check the problem/solution database to see if the situation or something similar has happened before and how it was handled.

If the same solution will work again, you can move quickly to getting the problem resolved. Update the database to reflect that the problem recurred and what you did.
