Hey all, back again with another piece about burnout and how to manage it. Last week, I gave a few steps regarding burnout and some ways it can be challenged in your daily life. This week, I’ll give a few more tips. hopefully you like them!
Practice Mindfulness
Nowadays, I take 10 minutes out of my day just to be mindful and think about what I’m grateful for. I cry, celebrate, and stop thinking. I love to sit down and think about life and living. Being mindful helps alleviate the day’s stress and manage tasks. It also gives me the time and peace of mind to relax.
Mindfulness can look like:
- Deep breathing
- Crying
- Relaxing
- Reading
- Silence
Hopefully, some of these practices can be ingrained into your life and help you.
Establish a Support System
Often, isolation helps with burnout. No, that’s not the case. Connecting with others helps. A conversation can assist. Being around people to take a load off can benefit your mental health. Especially people we love. Or even children. Just last week, I hung out with some children, and it helped with my mental health as I could unwind…
