Bursting the Bubbles of Illusive Reality
My Life Journey into the 70s
In February 2025, I embark on life’s journey into the 70s with a growing awareness of mortality, even as the future unveils its remaining wisdom that reveals ever deeper truths about existence, identity, self-authenticity, and the nature of absolute, true reality itself.
In the recent decades as enlightenment envelops my entire intellectual and social-psycho being, the “bubbles” that have surrounded me from birth slowly and steadily became more manifest as they boldly strip off their artificial clothing of human constructed realities — ideological, social, mental, epistemological, and religious. During my youthful formative years, these “bubbles” had provided seemingly critical functional and emotional scaffoldings in the forms of identity, meaning, comfort, and an important sense of life’s purpose. Are they still relevant, I wonder?
Aging is a journey of wisdom. Wisdom is the deconstruction and dismantling of illusions, often based on human worldviews in various philosophical, religious, and pseudo-religious perspectives.
Our “bubbles” of illusions begin to accumulate and stack up in our minds and habits, serving as frameworks for navigating life challenges and crisis. We create meaning through our choices. Fulfilment in personal relationships…
